We recently worked on a concept for an app that rewards users for using it. The idea of gamifaction is widely used nowadays to drive user engagement. We ended up in a heated discussion: Should the user should be punished for neglecting the app by decreasing his chances to get rewarded?

Facebook Bashing - The iPad App Edition
I there´s one thing Facebook is really good at then it´s providing sh*t user interfaces. So I wasn´t really surprised to find loads of stupid issues in their iPad app. And again I wonder why a company of that size and value is unable to develop a user interface that works and an app that doesn´t crash.
